Middle React Engineer

About the Project:
Our client is one the largest financial institutions in the US whose services are mainly focused on credit cards.
We are working on a platform that will reduce time to market new ideas and use cases through low-code, no-code solutions, automations, APIs, reports, etc.
The team works with Scrum methodology with 2-week sprints
The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Resource to join our team. As a UI/UX Resource, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces with a focus on usability and user experience. This role requires proficiency in React and Tailwind, as well as a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.

· Our side: Team Lead/Architect, Delivery Manager
· Client side: 2 Java developers, 2 DevOps, Front-end developer, Architect, Product Owner.
Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and translate them into engaging UI designs.

Create UI designs that are both visually stunning and highly functional, utilizing React and Tailwind to implement responsive and interactive elements.

Work with complex data sources to present information in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring an optimal user experience.

Execute strong visual exercises to enhance the overall look and feel of the applications, maintaining consistency with established design guidelines.

Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design, incorporating new techniques and technologies into our projects when appropriate.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred.

Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing design-heavy projects and complex data visualization.

Proficiency in React and Tailwind CSS, with the ability to translate design concepts into functional code.

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices in UI/UX.

Experience working with complex data sources and presenting information in a visually compelling way.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey design ideas and rationale to team members and stakeholders.

Detail-oriented approach to design, with a passion for creating beautiful and intuitive user interfaces.
