Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior M365 Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our Microsoft 365 (M365) infrastructure. As a Senior M365 Infrastructure Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of our M365 environment, with a particular focus on Postfix, Exchange, Exchange Online, and ProofPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate (MS-203: Microsoft 365 Messaging).
– ProofPoint Certified Administrator (PCSA).
– Additional certifications in M365 administration, security, or related areas, such as Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) or Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst (SC-200).
Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain a robust and scalable M365 infrastructure to meet the organization's business needs and security requirements

Lead the planning and execution of M365 migration projects, including on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online migrations.

Develop and implement comprehensive security measures to protect M365 data and communication channels, including email encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and multi-factor authentication (MFA). - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the M365 environment.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in M365 technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our infrastructure and recommending relevant solutions.

Participate in incident response and resolution activities, ensuring timely and effective resolution of M365-related issues.

Establish and maintain effective relationships with M365 service providers and vendors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.

Contribute to the development and enforcement of M365 policies, procedures, and standards to maintain regulatory compliance and data security.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing Microsoft 365 infrastructure, including Postfix, Exchange, Exchange Online, and ProofPoint.

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting complex M365 environments, including hybrid deployments and coexistence with legacy systems.

Deep understanding of email protocols, such as SMTP, POP3, and IMAP, as well as email delivery mechanisms and routing.

Extensive experience with email security technologies and best practices, including anti-spam, anti-malware, and content filtering solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
