Position Overview
REW is seeking an experienced EDE Power Platform Engineer to provide proactive engineering support, solution optimization, and incident prevention for enterprise customers leveraging Microsoft Power Platform.
As part of REW’s Enhanced Designated Engineering (EDE) offering, you will work closely with customers to design, develop, and secure business applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. This role is not just about troubleshooting—it’s about proactively enhancing low-code/no-code application development, improving automation efficiency, and driving adoption of scalable Power Platform solutions.
You will act as a trusted advisor, providing technical expertise on Power Platform architecture, governance, security, and performance optimization while also collaborating with Microsoft’s product teams to influence feature enhancements based on enterprise needs.
This is a remote-friendly position with flexibility to work from home.
Proactive Development & Optimization of Power Platform Solutions
Guide customers in designing and implementing scalable Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
Assist in governance, security, and compliance best practices for Power Platform, including DLP policies, managed environments, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Optimize performance, scalability, and data integration for Power Platform solutions across Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and third-party APIs.
Support workflow automation and business process improvement using Power Automate and RPA (Robotic Process Automation).
Incident Prevention & Performance Tuning
Conduct proactive assessments of Power Platform environments, identifying risks, inefficiencies, and security vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot connectors, API integrations, and data flows to improve reliability and performance.
Implement monitoring and logging strategies using Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit and Microsoft Sentinel.
Ensure best practices for application lifecycle management (ALM) and DevOps for Power Platform.
Customer Engagement & Technical Leadership
Act as a designated Power Platform expert, helping enterprise customers maximize business impact through automation and low-code solutions.
Lead workshops, training sessions, and hands-on labs to improve Power Platform adoption and developer proficiency.
Work closely with business stakeholders, citizen developers, and IT teams to align Power Platform capabilities with enterprise needs.
Provide custom recommendations and guidance on Power Platform licensing, architecture, and scalability.
Collaboration with Microsoft & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with Microsoft’s Power Platform engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements and roadmap improvements.
Participate in early-access preview programs and feature testing for new Power Platform capabilities.
Contribute to best practice documentation, internal knowledge-sharing, and Power Platform governance strategies within REW.
3+ years of experience in Power Platform development, automation, or business application engineering.
8+ years working with MS Technologies
English: B2+ or higher
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical end users, ensuring a smooth and efficient resolution of issues.
Hands-on expertise with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate (Cloud Flows & RPA), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.
Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, Azure, and third-party APIs.
Proficiency in Power Apps formulas, Power Fx, and Power Automate expressions.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Azure services in relation to Power Platform.
Ability to learn fast.
Preffered qualifications
Microsoft Certifications (e.g., PL-100: Power Platform App Maker, PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant, PL-400: Power Platform Developer, PL-600: Power Platform Solution Architect).
Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Microsoft Graph API, and Power Platform ALM/DevOps.
Knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) using Power Automate Desktop.
Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) toolkit and best practices.
Experience in low-code application development, enterprise automation, and data visualization.
