We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior GCC, GCC High Engineer with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Intune to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and securing our Government Community Cloud (GCC) and GCC High environments, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and implementing device management solutions using Microsoft Intune. This senior role demands a deep understanding of secure cloud infrastructure and experience in leading complex projects within government-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

– Design, implement, and manage secure infrastructure within GCC and GCC High environments, ensuring compliance with federal and DoD regulations.

– Utilize Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, and policy enforcement across a diverse range of devices and operating systems.

– Collaborate with security and compliance teams to develop and enforce policies that protect sensitive government data.

– Lead migration projects to GCC and GCC High, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

– Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for issues related to GCC, GCC High, and Microsoft Intune environments.

– Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, policies, and procedures.

– Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.

– Stay current with the latest developments in GCC, GCC High, and Intune technologies, as well as federal compliance requirements.

– Deliver training and support to end-users and IT staff on the use of Intune and secure practices within GCC and GCC High environments.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCC, GCC High, and Intune solutions with existing systems and applications.

– Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

– Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes regarding the organization’s cloud infrastructure and security posture.

 

Qualifications

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing and securing GCC and GCC High environments.

– In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, and policy enforcement.

– Strong understanding of federal and DoD compliance requirements, including FedRAMP and NIST.

– Experience with migration projects to GCC and GCC High environments.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

– Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering high-quality results.

– Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring junior engineers.

– Ability to learn fast and adapt to evolving technologies and business requirements.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

– Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900).

– Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (Intune).

– Experience with other Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools.

– Previous experience working with government or defense-related projects.
