We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Microsoft Solution Architect & Consultant to join our team. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise in Microsoft technologies and strong consultative and sales acumen. The ideal candidate will act as both a trusted advisor to clients and a representative of our company’s services, providing strategic guidance on Microsoft solutions while identifying opportunities to expand business relationships.
Technical Leadership: Serve as the go-to expert for Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and related platforms, offering high-level architectural guidance and best practices.
Consulting & Advisory: Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and provide tailored Microsoft-based solutions that align with their strategic objectives.
Solution Design: Lead the design of end-to-end Microsoft solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance while addressing customer needs.
Pre-Sales & Business Development: Collaborate with sales teams to pitch company services, presenting tailored solutions to clients and driving new business opportunities.
Client Engagement: Conduct workshops, assessments, and technical briefings to educate clients on Microsoft technologies and how they can enhance business operations.
Proposal Development: Support the preparation of proposals, statements of work (SOWs), and cost estimates for Microsoft-based projects.
Project Oversight: Provide technical oversight during project delivery, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and customer expectations.
Training & Enablement: Mentor internal teams and clients, helping them understand and adopt Microsoft solutions effectively.
Market Awareness: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the Microsoft ecosystem, advising clients and internal stakeholders on emerging technologies and trends.
Requirements:
Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and related platforms.
Architecture Skills: Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-grade Microsoft solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
Consulting Experience: Strong background in consulting, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Sales Acumen: Excellent sales and presentation skills, with the ability to pitch services, articulate value propositions, and drive business growth.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-centric approach to solution development.
Project Management: Experience managing projects or leading technical workstreams, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, or Dynamics 365 certifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a sales engineering or pre-sales role.
Knowledge of ITIL, TOGAF, or other architectural frameworks.
Familiarity with industry-specific Microsoft solutions, such as Azure AI, Power Platform, or Microsoft Security solutions.
Work Environment:
This is a client-facing role that requires availability to participate in customer calls upon their request. The candidate should be comfortable working across different time zones and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
