Lead UI/UX Designer

Project  Design System, Customers Portal, and multiple projects utilizing both.

• At least 7+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, visual designer or similar role;
• Proficiency in a variety of design tools such as Invision/Balsamiq/Figma/Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator;
• Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions is a requirement for the application;
• The ability to create world-class mockups and style guides;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Fluency in best practices for information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques;
• Familiarity with the technical considerations needed when designing for various devices including mobile;
• Demonstrated visual design expertise; capacity for creating fun, highly usable designs and layouts, and a propensity towards simplification;
• The ability to quickly turn around rigorous wireframes and mockups quickly in a fast-paced, iterative environment;
• The ability to scope design deliverables accurately and prioritize work items appropriately;
• Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is a big plus;
• Technical fluency; comfort understanding and discussing architectural concepts, scheduling tradeoffs and new opportunities with technical team members
• Experienced in executing user interviews and usability testing
• English language at an advanced level

• Lead the team in the mastery of the business goals of each design request and work with stakeholders on innovative UX/UI proposals; 
•  Demonstrate high-quality design practices.
• Responsible for contributing to, developing, and iterating on concepts for design experiences (including mobile);
• Participate in and contribute to the planning process for new features and projects;
• Refine your designs by considering live customer data, market research, and usability studies;
• Assist in the development and evaluation of personas, user stories, and usability studies;
• Develop and contribute to wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes;
• Work with the development team and customers to understand and respond to their design needs.
